Meet the team members who comprise our wonderful staff at Animal Medical Hospital!
Dr. Wojo bought Animal Medical Hospital from Dr. Carroll 11 years ago! Since then his business has grown like crazy! You have to have a special heart and mindset to work in the veterinary field, and Wojo has it! He loves connecting with the patients as well as the clients. After meeting him just once you can tell he is genuine and loves his profession! We love our Dr. Wojo!!
Dr. Telwar or Dr. T as we all call her, is the second veterinarian on staff at AMH. She graduated from University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. Dr. T started her journey with us in September of 2018. Dr. T delights in learning new things from Dr. Wojo, and helping with some of his unusual cases! She enjoys building relationships with our clients, and caring for and loving our patients. New puppy and kitten visits are her favorite thing, and she and Dr. Wojo often race to see who can catch a glimpse of them first!
Vet Assistants & Techs
Mrs. Michelle! She has been with Animal Medical Hospital even longer than Dr. Wojo! Michelle worked here when Dr. Carroll owned the practice, and has been with Wojo all 11 years he has owned the clinic. She is a vet assistant, and the leader of the pack in the back! No animal leaves without getting a kiss on the nose from Michelle! When not at work she loves spending time with her family, especially her six grandsons!
Mrs. Emily! She started as a volunteer in 2011 and moved to vet assistant in 2012. In 2015 Emily received her Bachelors degree and became a Licensed Veterinary Medical Technologist! See celebrated her 5 year tech anniversary at the beginning of July. She spends most of her time at AMH running anesthesia for surgery with Dr. Wojo and Dr. T. Emily’s favorite part of the job is being able to connect with the patients and care for them as if they were her own! She loves getting updates on previously sick patients and seeing them thrive!
Brook has been with us for a little over 3 years. She has worn a few different hats while working here, but recently moved into our Accounts Manager position. Brook is our resident crazy cat lady, and it is not unusual to see her with a crate full of kittens! After all, her motto is “Kittens are life”! When she isn’t staring at the computer or sorting through paperwork, she spends her time outside of work in an enchanted land where she plays with unicorns, dances with fairies, fights the dragon slayers and searches for the elusive end to the rainbow.
Donna has been with us for 2 years. She began her journey with AMH as a receptionist, but after a year she decided she preferred working more hands on with the animals. She moved to the back and has been a vet assistant for the last year. Donna is our second office cat lady, and always feels better after snuggling a kitten. Donna’s favorite part of her job is the unpredictability from day to day. She says “AMH is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get.”
Ms. Angela is our weekend warrior who works on Saturdays. She has been with us for almost 2 years. Angela is very compassionate about animals and will always go above and beyond to make sure they are comfortable and loved while with us. With her can-do attitude, she is always eager to help wherever she is needed. Her sweet smile and personality is a perfect fit for our AMH team!!
Jessie has been with Animal Medical Hospital since June 2019. She started as a kennel tech and is now a vet assistant. Jessie has no fear when it comes to handling crazy cats, or wrangling rowdy dogs. She loves taking care of hospitalized patients, and seeing their health improve. Jessie’s favorite part of the job is the fact that she always has to be on her toes, because you never know what is going to walk through our door!
Brandon started at AMH In October 2019. He is our youngest team member! Brandon is a kennel tech/vet assistant. He wants to go to school to be a veterinarian, so he really enjoys learning new things from Dr. Wojo and Dr. T! Brandon is one smart cookie and we are sure he is going to make a great veterinarian one day, but in the meantime, Dr. Wojo really enjoys having another guy around the clinic!
Ms. Lindsey! She started with AMH in March of 2020. Lindsey is one of our kennel tech/ vet assistants. She is very passionate about helping animals. She says Dr. Wojo and Dr. Telwar are animal heroes, and she is so happy to be a part of their animal saving team! Any time we have a cute puppy or kitten, Lindsey will make sure everyone gets to see it’s cuteness before it leaves. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her twin sister, riding in her mustang, and going to the beach!
Katherine has been with Animal Medical Hospital since the end of March. She is a kennel tech/vet assistant. Even though Katherine hasn’t been with us long, she does have 5 years of animal handling experience under her belt. She is always ready to help in any situation, and she isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty! Her favorite part of the job is meeting the different patients and learning all their unique personalities! Puppy snuggles also make her day. When not here at AMH, she enjoys spending time with her fiance, dogs, cat, and reptiles.
Ginny has been with us since June, making her the newest team member at AMH. Ginny comes to us from California where she graduated from Western Career College in 2005 and became a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2006. She is quickly becoming accustomed to the way we do things and jumps right in whenever needed. Ginny spends some of her days in surgery with Dr. Wojo and Dr. T, and the other days as their vet tech to help with appointments. In her free time, Ginny loves spending time with her new husband, her 2 kids and her cat!
